| These photos give some glimpes into the Car Shop/Diesel Shop interior. A steel truss roof is modeled from metal etchings. A central platform provides easier access for the mechanics. Numerous details are provided for the modeler to use on the interior or the outside. The dimensions of this building are 14.5" x 5.5" for the main building with a 1.5" x 5" measurement for the extension which is on the right side of the facility. |

Dick Elwell's Hoosac Valley, shown below, was the initial inspiration for our involvement in this project. It's since been reconstructed after a move, and this scene up and running real. Check out the photos below to get an idea of how the project progressed. |
